September is always a busy month at Dapto Seniors. The newly elected committee is getting into its stride and there are all the normal fortnightly meetings.
Fathers’ Day Concert
On the 10th September the Concert Group held a concert which was well received by the discerning audience that attended. As always the audience enjoyed a snack , tea or coffee and a massive door prize draw.
The Concert Group holds three concerts a year - Mothers’ Day, Fathers’ Day and Christmas.
The group is already rehearsing for the Christmas Concert but are always looking out for new members to join them. If you would like to join this convivial group just drop an email to daptoseniors@gmail.com for details or, even better, just come along to a rehearsal any Monday at 12.30pm in Heininger Hall. You will be made very welcome.
The next concert is on the 26th November 2018 in the hall; please note the date in your diary so you don’t miss it.
Fathers’ Day Lunch
Over 50 members attended the Fathers’ Day Lunch in the Sinclair Room on the 27th September. Everybody who attended had a wonderful time, the 2 course meal was delicious and there were plenty of door prizes drawn afterwards. It was a great success.
All members can attend these subsidised lunches; there are four lunches each year - for dates keep an eye on the Club Activities section of this site. You will find club meeting dates there as well as all the activities that take place each week.
The Christmas Lunch is on the 14th December 2018 and at $20 for the two course lunch is great value.
